Busy But Nourished

This time of year is one of the busiest for most of our clients, including myself! While travel may be revving up or settling down, there are all sorts of different things that pull us away from being able to focus on our health and well-being. That said, it’s crucial to remember that you need fuel for your daily activities, whether big or small. Here are a couple of tips to help you stay nourished during your busiest days.

  1. MEAL PREP and PLAN AHEAD!! I know that this has been talked about in various corners of the internet, but it truly is a game changer. One of the biggest reasons people do not meal prep, however, is because it has a reputation of requiring a significant chunk of time each week. I’m here to tell you that it does NOT have to be this way! In fact, let us help you with this. Let an RD meal plan for you. We can do 2 ($55) or 4 weeks ($75) at a time and keep this decision out of your hair. Contact us here if you are interested!

  2. Buy snacks!! Snacks are not talked about enough. We recommend eating every 3-4 hours, which does include snacks! Purchasing well-rounded snacks such as hummus with pretzels and veggies, peanut butter and apples, yogurt-covered fruits, trail mix, power bars, etc. can help you stay fueled when you have a busy day (or week!) ahead. Keep them somewhere you can easily grab or have some stored in your car if you find yourself frequently stuck on the road.

If this season is a busy time for you, remember to nourish yourself. And use your resources if you need to, such as grocery click list services and or meal services. The fact remains, however, that any plans you have ahead won’t be as enjoyable if you are under-fueled.
